Dr. Akash S. Rajpal

Akash S. Rajpal, MBBS is Founder & Business Leader at Ekohealth.
 
Ekohealth has been selected as an NASSCOM Emerge50 company. Ekohealth strives to make healthcare affordable. It strives to create a Pan-India value network of healthcare providers via Chemists, Diagnostic Centers, and Hospitals who shall provide value additions and discounts to Ekohealth member patients. To complete the value chain, Dr. Rajpal with his 13 years of operational, quality, and health business insights will provide services to healthcare providers to improve quality via NABH ISO, Business Process Re-engineering, marketing, and training.
 
Akash is a Ramanujan Bose Prize Awardee. He is also winner of the health innovation award by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). He is an alumnus of NASA Singularity University and a medical graduate (MBBS) with postgraduate qualifications in public health, hospital administration, IT services, and Mergers & Acquisition from the Times School of Business.
 
He has 14 years administrative experience in both Public and Private Health-care sectors. He is an NABH assessor, ISO lead auditor, and IMC RBNQA examiner.
 
Askash has worked on senior management positions in Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital, and has headed a HOSMAC consultancy where he worked on projects with CRISIL, IFC World Bank, QCI, NHSRC, and various state governments.
 
He is a visiting faculty in various Hospital Management Institutes including Welingkars, Indian Clinical Research Institute of India (ICRI), and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
