Professor Chaoyang Lu

Chaoyang Lu, Ph.D. is Professor, Division of Quantum Physics and Quantum Information, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).
 
His research interests include foundations of quantum physics, quantum computation & quantum communication, multi-photon entanglement and optical quantum computing, and quantum optics with quantum dots.
 
Chaoyang’s papers include Experimental entanglement of six photons in graph states, Quantum teleportation between remote atomic-ensemble quantum memories, Experimental demonstration of topological error correction, Observation of eight-photon entanglement, Teleportation-based realization of an optical quantum two-qubit entangling gate, Experimental measurement-based quantum computing beyond the cluster-state model, Direct Measurement of Quantum Dot Spin Dynamics using Time-Resolved Resonance Fluorescence, and Experimental Test of Bell inequalities with Six-Qubit Graph States. Chaoyang earned his Bachelor’s in Physics at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2004. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge in 2011.
