Whenever I hear the pro-GMO people talking it just sounds like a marketing campaign to defend their products, and whenever I hear the anti-GMO people talking it sounds like unscientific fallacies and rants. However, we do not need to take either side in any militant sense. The default position should be to acknowledge that there is a controversy and it is not worth risking being on the wrong side when both sides are relying on fallacious arguments.

I am a “on the outside looking in” type. I don’t like to make too much noise and when I do it is because I soaked enough information to give an informed opinion.
It is funny to me, my dad was screaming NON-GMO over 10 years ago, now here we are reaching a peak of public outcry. The majority is anti GMO but in an uniformed, why is this happening, screw big business, unfocused manner. Everyone throwing a log on the fire, yea team! but not really accomplishing a whole lot.
I am very surprised that there is not more reaction to your take, your effort is obvious and after reading it twice because it is such a different take, I will be looking for more information on DIY as well as the unemotional route that the problem is not the health issues of GMO but the corporate greed of those engineering this stuff for their greed instead of as you said; “to be subverting health and the public good for profit.”
