Kids need to have heroes other than Kayne West. Just saw, “The Theory of Everything” and it made me happy that Hollywood believes a scientist can be a leading man. This year’s Oscars has two men nominated for best actor who played scientists (Cumberbatch for The Imitation Game.) These movies give kids like the ones who participate in FIRST, a chance to see people like themselves on the big screen.
