On January 2023, 60 minutes interviewed Paul Ehrlich, the author of the 1968 Population Bomb.

Although I agree with some of the points, like the destruction of habitat, and climate change, and those points indeed need addressing. the overpopulation arguments in the book and the interview have already been proven wrong, repeatedly.

The 18th century Malthusian catastrophe predictions never materialized. Thanks to modern technology, new clean energy sources, and modern agriculture, our planet doesn’t have an overpopulation problem despite having more people today than at ant time in history.

It’s okay to have more kids. Kids will not “destroy the planet”. They may actually help.

Philosophy of the future is needed.

Fascism, Communism, Capitalism and other ideologies and economic system of past may not be ideal to ensure a flourishing human civilization on Earth and beyond.

Some initial thoughts on a framework of a philosophy of the future.

What do you think will be the preferred ideology and economic system of the future?

The world is changing at a fast paced. Humanity is facing new disruptive technologies and demographic changes at a rate never seen in the past. Especially, AI.

Fascism, Communism, Capitalism and other ideologies and economic system of the past may not be ideal to ensure human flourishing in the future.

This video contains some of the issues we will be facing in the upcoming years and decades. Why the current ideologies may not be the optimal solution for facing the future.

2022 the Colorado State Fair’s annual art competition gave out prizes in all the usual art categories.

“Thé tre D’opéra Spatial,” took home the blue ribbon in the fair’s contest for emerging digital artists — making it one of the first A.I.-generated pieces to win such a prize.
