Franz Gayl, M.S.

Franz Gayl, M.S. retired from the Marine Corps as a Major in 2002. He now works at the Pentagon as a civilian science and technology adviser.
 
Franz has worked in space related issues for 14 years. He earned an MS in Space Systems Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School, where his thesis was on ground based free electron lasers for space support missions. He also has an MS in National Research Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and participated for five months in a DARPA internship. He also successfully completed the Singularity University Graduate Studies Program in 2011. He holds patent High intensity directed light and sound crowd dispersion device.
