He was previously Software Architect at Kabira Technologies; Software Engineer at Color Systems Technology; Software Engineer at Singer Link Flight Simulation Division; CEO at Steersman Systems; Research Co-Director at Dolphin Research Center; Research Trainer at Dolphin Language-Acquisition Experiment, Naples, Florida; and Research Assistant at University of Pennsylvania Primate Research Facility.
 
Ron authored A Brief Introduction to the Art of Flight Simulation and coauthored Augmented Reality in a Simulated Tower Environment: Effect of Field of View on Aircraft Detection and Design of Augmented Reality Tools for Air Traffic Control Towers. His patents include Real-time surface traffic adviser and Automated traffic management system and method.
 
Ron earned his BA in Philosophy & Classical Greek at Dickinson College in 1976. He earned his MS in Computer Science at the University of Miami in 1984.
