Verne Wheelwright, Ph.D. spent
over 30 years in international trade. He is now
founder of the
Personal Futures Network, which helps you to plan for your own
future
while learning how to to think long-term in all aspects of your life,
including your career.
He is a member of the
Association of Professional Futurists, the
World Future Society, and the
World Future Studies Federation. He has also contributed
to sections of the
Shaping Tomorrow web site
and written articles for journals, books, and other publications
including FO/futureorientation, Futures Research Quarterly,
Foresight, and The Futurist.

Verne earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of
Oregon in 1957, earned his MA in Studies of the Future at the
University of Houston Clear Lake in 2000, and earned his PhD in
Personal Futures at Leeds Metropolitan University, UK in
2006.
