Professor Guillermina Baena Paz

Professor Guillermina Baena Paz, Ph.D. is Executive Board member at the World Futures Studies Federation.
 
Guillermina is Professor in Political and Social Sciences at UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) where she specializes in future studies, prospective, and foresight.
 
She is Member of National System of Researchers (SNI), Member of Latin-American Association of Communication Researchers (ALAIC), Member of World Future Society, Founder and General Secretary of Ibero-American Chapter of the WFSF, and Member of Executive Board of the World Futures Studies Federation (2009–2013).
 
She has authored forty books and e-books and published and participated in 20 collective books. She has participated in conferences and courses in Spain, Bolivia, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, and United States. She has been coordinating a Seminary of Prospective Studies in UNAM since January 2003. She edited the e-magazine Prospective Constructing Futures. Recently, she edited the Working Papers Series in Political Prospective.
