Jeremy Pesner, M.A.

Jeremy Pesner, M.A. is an Innovation Specialist and Policy Manager at the Office of Information, Integrity, and Access at the U.S. General Services Administration. He is also a member of the Global Generational Advisory Council at the World Future Society.
Jeremy is a multidisciplinary technologist, researcher, and policy analyst. His undergraduate degree is in Computer Science, and his graduate work included a wide variety of topics across technology, policy, and society, including internet governance, innovation systems, knowledge management, human-computer interaction, complex systems, and more. He is well-practiced at aligning technological and organizational needs, and has significant experience in academic research, social innovation, startups, and public speaking.
He maintains a blog with the Huffington Post where he writes on various topics of interest, and has published articles in several journals, including one on the tragic death of Aaron Swartz.
Jeremy maintains involvement with the Wikimedia Foundation, the Journal of Science Policy & Governance, FedScoop, and the STGlobal conference. He is a member of the Internet Society and a Fellow of its Next Generation Leaders Programme as a Fellow of the StartingBloc Institute for Social Innovation and the Israel Tech Challenge.
Jeremy earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at Dickinson College in 2009, and earned his Master’s Degree in Communication, Culture, and Technology at Georgetown University in 2013.
