Steve
Cronin, MS is Senior Compounder at Goodyear.
Steve’s goal is to
obtain a position that allows his passion, love, and knowledge of the
innovation process to grow and prosper. He enjoys an environment
which
encourages, fosters, and rewards his creative problem solving skills.
He was
Goodyear Corporate Inventor of the Year for the Goodyear FuelMax™
Tread

He developed the
highest performance tread compound in Goodyear’s aircraft tire
lineup with
US Patent 7367369. He also hold patents
Tire with tread and
Preparation of nanocomposite of elastomer and exfoliated clay platelets,
rubber compositions comprised of said nanocomposite and articles of
manufacture, including tires.
Steve earned his BS in Materials Science and Engineering at
Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1995.
He earned his MS in Polymer Engineering at The University of Akron in
1998. He graduated Singularity University in 2010.
