learning experiences in the digital age.
Tomer Doron is a technologist, entrepreneur, and a Singularity University
Alumni. Originally in the enterprise software space, he moved to San
Francisco following the acquisition of workplaceIQ by Siterra in 2006.
In 2009 he moved to the ed-tech space in pursue of greater social
impact. His first company, PangeaTools, developed mathematical models
for
virtual labs and similar science tools used in teaching physics,
chemistry, and biology. The company was acquired by Houghton Mifflin
Harcourt in 2011. That summer, Tomer completed his studies at
Singularity University where he focused on the application of
physiological sensors in the healthcare space. His current venture,
Exploros, focuses on the virtual classroom and the use of real-time
collaboration as means of developing non-cognitive skills.
