Christopher B. Hopkins, J.D., M.T.S. is Lawyer / Partner at Akerman LLP.
Christopher has extensive trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts throughout Florida. He divides his time among appellate, arbitration, and litigation matters. His practice includes commercial, construction, probate, injury, and general civil litigation and appeals.
His practice frequently involves e-discovery, e-retention, social media, hacking, cloud computing, bitcoin regulation/licensing, computer crimes, website/app contracts, emerging technology policy drafting, and other technology-related issues, from drafting contracts and policies to litigation.
Christopher is a Florida Supreme Court certified civil circuit mediator and qualified arbitrator. He is also a frequent speaker and faculty member for continuing legal education.

Christopher earned his B.A. in Religion at the University of Richmond in 1992. He earned his Master’s in Theological Studies at Wesley Theological Seminary in 1994. He earned his J.D. in Law at Tulane University Law School in 1997.
