Kathleen Ann Goonan

Kathleen Ann Goonan has had several of her books nominated for the Nebula Award.
 
Kathy’s debut novel Queen City Jazz was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, and cyberpunk SF writer William Gibson described it as “An unforgettable vision of America transfigured by a new and utterly apocalyptic technology.” Her novel In War Times: An Alternate Universe Novel of a Different Present chosen by the American Library Association as Best Science Fiction Novel for their 2008 reading list. In July 2008, In War Times won the John W. Campbell Memorial Award for Best Science Fiction Novel. Ursula K. Le Guin called This Shared Dream: A Novel, “A tough-minded, kind-hearted, fiercely intelligent novel.”
 
Her novels include The Bones of Time, Mississippi Blues Paperback, Crescent City Rhapsody, and Light Music. She also wrote Memory Dog, The String, Sundiver Day, The Bride of Elvis, Angels and You Dogs, A Short History of the Twentieth Century, or, When You Wish Upon A Star, and Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?
