Mark Koops

Mark Koops is the Regional Vice President at Oracle Communications Consulting. This is a large international company, where he is responsible for Business Management for one of its 5 regions. He has worked in North America, Europe, and Asia in various roles, for companies like AT&T, Oracle, and Ericsson.

Mark is an Independent Consultant, based in Singapore and has held various executive positions (Board Member, C-level advisor and Head of Sales) with companies like Discoperi, The Magnus Collective, and Telcoin Pte.

He started his career at Alcatel-Lucent where he held different roles during his more than eight years working there. He was Software Developer and Client Support for EDN, Solution Architect for NIPS, and at Bell Labs he was Provisioning and Standardization Team Lead and the Unit Manager Deputy and Architecture Team Lead.

In 2004, Mark became the Principal Member of Technical Staff for AT&T, where he was responsible for development of operations strategies and architectures, network evolution plans, and current operations environment for DSL and Fault Management, and Supporting Network Operations Centers.

Mark became partner in Consulting Division for Amdocs in 2005. First working from Atlanta and then working from Southeast Asia. In 2008, he was based in Malaysia and was based in Singapore during 2009–2011. He was responsible for SEA market penetration, strategy, and development. Among other jobs, he was the Head of Operations and Business Support System (OSS & BSS), Consulting Director, Head Technology Practice APAC, and Head Consulting SEA.

He stayed in Singapore and in July of 2011 became Head of APAC Pre-Sales, Solutions & Program Delivery at Motricity (now Voltari is a digital advertising company dedicated to helping companies get the most out of their marketing budgets and the lifetime value of their customers, built on more than 10 years of experience in the mobile industry.

Mark continued his career in Singapore and became Sales Consulting Director for Oracle and then joined Ericsson in 2013 as Regional VP and Head OSS & BSS Engagement Practice for SEA & Oceania region. At Ericsson they used innovation to empower people, business and society. Their vision is a Networked Society that is sustainable, and where everything that can benefit from a connection will have one. He was with Ericsson for almost 5 years, until the beginning of 2o18 when he joined Oracle again, becoming Regional Vice President.

Mark earned his Bachelor’s degree of Science from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and he holds a certification in Driving Strategic Impact from the Institute for Personal Leadership.
