I believe there may be a Tachyonic field creating instability in spacetime that can exist, or slip into “another dimension”, where we may only reach faster than light without increasing mass. This may become mankind’ s first effort to reach the speed of light, but not exceed it, and will result from negating mass…even though to achieve fast-as-light or faster-than-light are purely hypothetical concepts.

Otherwise, a spaceship applying a Dr. Harold White Warp Drive may sooner Rosenberg Bridge our way past faster-than-light speeds…or a Tachyonic field hypothetically entering another dimension also able to exceed faster-than-light speed.
