Space Fence: Connecting the Surveillance and Transhumanist Agendas

Posted by in categories: biotech/medical, military, mobile phones, robotics/AI, satellites, surveillance, transhumanism

Betty Lim

Is a massive, planetary-wide, space surveillance system currently being constructed that aims to monitor you all the way down to your DNA. Officially, the Space Fence is, according to Wikipedia, a 2nd generation space surveillance system being built (started in 2014) by the US Air Force and Lockheed Martin to track artificial satellites and space debris. Its budget is US$1.594 billion, it’s expected to be operational in 2019 and the Space Fence facility will be located in the Marshall Islands along with an option for another radar site in Western Australia. The Space Fence is a resurrection of a program started by Reagan in the 1980s called SDI (Strategic Defense Initiative), commonly known by its nickname “Star Wars.” However, like many exotic weapons of the New World Order, it has a cover purpose and a real purpose. This article exposes the grander implications of the Space Fence – and how it connects to other technology that could be used to enslave you.

What is the Space Fence?

In 15 years we’ll be able to upload education to our brains. So can I stop saving for my kids’ college?

Posted by in categories: biotech/medical, computing, drones, education, neuroscience, transhumanism

I’m super excited to share this new Quartz article of mine, part of an ongoing personal debate about #transhumanism, #kids, and #education in my family:

But the age of downloading experience and expertise directly into our brain mainframe is coming. So is downloading professional training, including everything from becoming a police officer to practicing medicine or investigative journalism.

For many in the audience, I think that was the first time considering this could become a reality in our lifetime.

Machine learning makes a better Luke Skywalker hand

Posted by in categories: 3D printing, biotech/medical, cyborgs, robotics/AI, transhumanism

A 3D-printed prosthetic hand controlled using a new AI-based approach could significantly lower the cost of bionic limbs for amputees.

Real need: There are approximately 540,000 upper-limb amputees in the United States, but sophisticated “myoelectric” prosthetics, controlled by muscle contractions, are still very expensive. Such devices cost between $25,000 and $75,000 (not including maintenance and repair), and they can be difficult to use because it is hard for software to distinguish between different muscle flexes.

Handy invention: Researchers in Japan came up with a cheaper, smarter myoelectric device. Their five-fingered, 3D-printed hand is controlled using a neural network trained to recognize combined signals—or, as they call them, “muscle synergies.” Details of the bionic hand are published today in the journal Science Robotics.

The Future of Pensions – Article

Posted by in categories: biotech/medical, geopolitics, life extension, policy, transhumanism

Editor’s Note: The U.S. Transhumanist Party features this article by Nicola Bagalà and Michael Nuschke of the Life Extension Advocacy Foundation (LEAF), originally published on the LEAF site on May 15th, 2019. The article brings attention to and responds to concerns related to the impacts of increased longevity on pension systems, a possible result of our mission of ending age-related diseases, which the U.S. Transhumanist Party supports as part of our policy goals.

~ Brent Reitze, Director of Publication, United States Transhumanist Party, June 15th, 2019

If you work in social security, it’s possible that your nightmares are full of undying elderly people who keep knocking on your door for pensions that you have no way of paying out. Tossing and turning in your bed, you beg for mercy, explaining that there’s just too many old people who need pensions and not enough young people who could cover for it with their contributions; the money’s just not there to sustain a social security system that, when it was conceived in the mid-1930s, didn’t expect that many people would ever make it into their 80s and 90s. Your oneiric persecutors won’t listen: they gave the country the best years of their lives, and now it’s time for the country to pay them their due.

No more dialysis, Scientists Have Developed A Bionic Kidney!

Posted by in categories: biotech/medical, cyborgs, transhumanism

Many of them must wait for years to get a kidney transplant and live normally, with seemingly no other solution on the horizon. However, there’s finally a light in the dark tunnel – scientists from the University of California at San Francisco, USA, have developed the world’s first bionic kidney which can replace damaged kidneys easily and effectively.

You’re already transhuman, you just don’t know it: MWC Barcelona

Posted by in categories: computing, cyborgs, transhumanism

My writeup of the coolest and session at MWC Barcelona where there was a live on-stage demonstration of a human chip being implanted into someone’s hand.

Welcome to the future, where we already transhuman and microchipped. Will you merge with technology or be left behind?

Watch the full video of the human chip implant live on stage:

“Future of Healthy Longevity”

Posted by in categories: biotech/medical, life extension, transhumanism

Liz in this video is speaking to the mormons. THE MORMONS do not care a lot for me. Mostly due to when they push their thoughts that are wrong I push back. {I dealt with one of their prophets Years ago} and some of the minds of this day, their wrong-thoughts are the same as in 2003–4. When one is adjusting their comments, they then freak out and begin attacking your truth that moved their comments-thoughts out of the way. The truth will cut you loose. Respect r.p.berry & AEWR wherein the many causes of aging have been found and a cure located by our Data research. We search for partners-investors to now join us in agings end…

At the 2018 Conference of the Mormon Transhumanist Association, held 7 Apr 2018 at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Provo, UT, speakers addressed the themes of Mormonism, Transhumanism and Transfigurism, with particular attention to topics at the intersection of technology, spirituality, science and religion. Members, friends and critics of the association have many views. This is one of them. It is not necessarily shared by others.

First-of-its-kind platform aims to rapidly advance prosthetics

Posted by in categories: bioengineering, biotech/medical, cyborgs, robotics/AI, transhumanism

A new open-source, artificially intelligent prosthetic leg designed by researchers at the University of Michigan and Shirley Ryan AbilityLab is now available to the scientific community.

The leg’s free-to-copy design and programming are intended to improve the quality of life of patients and accelerate by offering a unified platform to fragmented research efforts across the field of bionics.
